Kay,i am going to post about my darn compo.

I slammed my pen down on my table and grumbled unhappily when I saw the pile of homework stacked on my table. I glanced at the clock in my room and gasped when I saw the time. It was eleven thirty in the night. There was no possible way I could finish the homework. I looked outside of my room. No lights. I guessed my parents and brothers are already asleep. I sighes,took my mobile phone and sneaked out of my house.
“Hey Shaza!” My best friend,Liyana,continued, “Why do you want to meet me late in the night?”
“Ugh,have you completed your homework?I am seriously feeling very pressurized right now you know,” I whined.
Liyana giggled, “Me? I did not even touch it. Stressed? This is what you need,girl. It can make you forget all your problems.”
She passed me a packet of six white pills. I looked at her accusingly. She smirked and popped one of the pills into her mouth. A few seconds later,she gazed at something far away and started to smile there and then. I immediately realized what it was. Drugs? I glared at her,questioning her sanity. However,curiousity got the better of me. Without a second thought,I did exactly like what Liyana did.
For the next few months that followed,I started to hang out with Liyana and her friends more often. I abandoned my studies and became a rude and irresponsible student. I spent all my savings to satisfy my cravings for drugs which got worser and worser day by day. However,an incident that happened on a particular day made me regret of what I did.
I stuffed the packet of pills in a small compartment of my school bag and skipped all the way home exuberantly,expecting nobody to be there. As usual,I just managed to get the pills once every fortnight after forking out a few tens for three pills. I thought I could enjoy my ‘lovely,little world’ alone. However,I was disappointed when I arrived at the doorstep. The gate was locked but the door was left open,clearly stating that someone was at home.
I knocked on the door. I saw my brother,Hafiz,arised from the sofa and unlocked the gate. I took my shoes off and entered my house. There was the sound of running water and a rough coughing coming from the kitchen. I recognised it immediately. Must be my mother. She had been really sick these past few days. I went to the kitchen,huggeh her and headed back to my room,feeling both annoyed and sorry for her.
Once I entered my room,I threw my bag onto the bed habitually. I rested for a few minutes before grabbing my toiletries and headed for the bathroom. Just when I reached the bathroom,I realized that I had forgotten to take my face cleanser in my room. I quickly ran back to my room. And my heart thumped faster,indicating to me that something bad is going to happen.
Horror greeted me when I saw my room in a mess-books strewn all over the floor. I then saw my brother at the corner of my room,holding the packet of pills. Oh no!
“What is this,Shaza? Are you nuts?” He started questioning me.
I tugged at the hem of my blouse,unable to speak. Just as I was about to open my mouth to defend myself,I heard a knock on the door outside. There was an unlocking sound and I heard my mother talking with two men.
Suddenly,I heard a loud thud. My brother and I rushed outside. My mother had fainted. Standing beside her was two police officers. The police! I turned behind to glare at my brother.
“What have you done? How can you do this to me?” I seethed.
The next minute,my hands were handcuffed. Tears welled up in my eyes.
“Sorry,” my brother mumbled.
I knew he was trying to fight tears. His eyes were red like mine too. He just acts like he did not care. But I knew,deep inside of his heart,he was forced to do this. He wanted the best for me-he did not want my life to be ruined by drugs.
As I turned around to be sent to a rehabilition centre,I managed to choke out,”Help me apologise to everyone and please take care of them.”
I did not hear any response so,maybe he might be nodding his head. I walked away,regretting my action of just taking a pill. I just realised that taking drugs-just once,will change your life drastically and cause you a lot of trouble.
Every minute of it,every second of this experience,I regretted it-the greatest regret of my life.
